New Living Willow Dome created at Coleford Playing Field

Coleford Parish Council would like to thank all the people who turned up to help plant and weave the willow structure. We think this will be a fabulous addition to the playing field and we look forward to see it develop as it grows.

This was just part of the work that was completed by the Coleford Conservation Volunteer group. They also raked off the bank, piling the material, cleared back the blackthorn scrub and spread wild flower seed. All this hard work is essential in maintaining the butterfly bank and I look forward to seeing it burst into life in the Spring.  Thanks Team!
